Biography
I moved from an HOA controlled neighborhood in April 2017 because of the assessments. I ran for the board in May of 2017 because we loved the neighborhood we had chosen for our permanent home, particularly in the Canyon Springs Resort POA. As a Vietnam Airforce veteran, I am committed to ensuring a positive POA future for our community.
Goal for the Canyon Springs Resort POA
I support the bankruptcy proceeding for the Canyon Springs Resort POA because we have liabilities that 18.00 a year will not address. My main concern, as voiced by Dennis Davis, is the fire liability. All of the POA assets need to be updated and maintained for the POA future.
Why the Chapter 11 reorganization was undertaken
We do have some individuals in the neighborhood who are trying everything they can to destroy the beautiful community we call home for their own financial gain. I can't sit back and let that happen. We, as a community, must unite to keep our beautiful neighborhood from becoming a section 8 community. An opponent to the current Canyon Springs Resort POA Board has openly stated that this is their goal.
I have always supported my community and will continue to help veterans in need. We held a public fish fry on July 26th, which many community members and veterans attended and participated in. Many of you know me personally and are aware that I am straightforward, very direct, and to the point. That's just who I am, for better or worse. Making false statements is one thing I do not do.
